Swarthout Museum

The Swarthout Museum features changing exhibits about the history of La Crosse County, about everything from local businesses to daily life in the past. A miniatures room and a children’s hands-on room are two popular permanent exhibits. The Historical Society offices and the Golden Lion Gift and Book Shop are located here as well.
